If you enjoy walking in our beautiful countryside and taking in the fresh air, then you must visit the sleepy villages of the Cotswolds, the Old Manse, Bourton on the Water or the Rising Sun, Cheltenham are both ideal. If you prefer, try the Dartmoor Lodge in deepest Devon or the magnificent Royal Hotel, Ross on Wye, with its amazing panoramic views over the River Wye. History lovers must not miss a visit to Woburn House (Bell Hotel, Woburn) or Portsmouth Marine Heritage Centre (Red Lion Fareham). A break at the historic Talbot Hotel, Oundle is a must,(beware though, you may encounter the ghost of Mary Queen of Scots on the staircase!) visit Peterborough Cathedral, Rockingham Castle and Fotheringhay. For those of you who love a spot of shopping then take a trip to Milton Keynes (Cock Hotel, Stony Stratford) or the Castle and Ball, Marlborough (Swindon Outlet Centre).
